Mary Pitkin has a list of the descendents of Thomas Ratcliffe of Cheshire, England. Thomas is the father of Samuel Ratcliffe of Lancashire, England, Cheshire, England, and Middletown, Connecticut.

Pauline Brandy has a wonderful page about her specific line of the family, titled The Battle at Ratcliff's Bridge.

My father, Clarence Ratcliff, authored two books used by genealogists and published by the Genealogical Publishing Company. They are titled North Carolina Taxpayers , vols. 1 & 2. These books list important records from the 1600's and 1700's. Detailed descriptions are available (see publications 4760 & 4762).

Roots, Trunk, Branching, and Blossoms describes the life, descendents, and ancestors of Olivia Eagles Ratliff.
