The Richard Ratcliff Bulletin
Clarence Ratcliff founded the Richard Ratcliff Genealogical Society Bulletin in 1988. When he was no longer able continue as editor due to ill health, Ed Ratliff in Alaska assumed those duties for volume two and the first issue of volume three. With the encouragement of both Ed and Clarence, Jane Clancy Debenport then became the editor for the remaining volumes of the journal, the
last of
which was released in the December, 2000. We appreciate the extensive--and
excellent--work she gave this task, which was entirely a volunteer effort. [In
the picture Jane is on the left and Marilyn Covington--who assisted her in
this project for many years--is on the right.] The bulletin was discontinued
because of decreased mail, probably related to the increased use of internet
genealogy resources. Jane, who is a gifted musician, has
now turned her attention to being choirmaster and organist at First
Presbyterian Church of Belton, Texas.
